Board of Directors
The Recruitment Committee of the Blooming Prairie Community Foundation consists of Chris Staloch, Doug Miner, Dan Peach, and Jeff Kramer. We formally invite you to consider a position on our Board of Directors. As a leader in our community, we would greatly value your expertise.
Current Board Members
This Board position is a volunteer position and the term is 3 years. We meet the second Wednesday of each month at the Blooming Prairie City Center from 5-6 PM. Regular board attendance, assignment to a working committee and (hopefully) financial support for the organization is expected if you choose to accept our invitation.
When we were initially founded we approached the School, senior citizens, the City, the BP Youth Club, the churches, the Chamber of Commerce, 4H clubs, daycare providers, the Education Foundation and other non-profit organizations in Blooming Prairie.
We have spent years assessing community needs and requested statements of affirmation from all of the organizations we approached. We are currently working on launching awareness of the organization and our purpose in the community. Our goal to support sound projects including brick and mortar that improve the quality of life in our community intentionally covers a broad area.
